Technology

Lauren Razek aims to lead the fashion industry in prioritising all aspects of sustainability. We disclose all the information of our supply chain to empower our customers with the information they need to make more informed, conscious choices.

You can verify the quality and authenticity of each of our products by scanning them with your phone. We show you how each piece is made and provide evidence when possible for accountability.

This information is recorded on an NFC tag, which is embedded in each garment’s label that you can scan with your smartphone and see for yourself.

ENTER BLOCKCHAIN

In the near future we will utilise the power of blockchain to further raise the standards of transparency in the world of fashion.

We will create a decentralised network for each party in the supply chain to record their own data.

This means each step of the process will be recorded by the respective party and confirmed by others, offering a new level of transparency where we will be held accountable for our supply chain and all information provided.

CURIOUS FACT

Data on the blockchain cannot be changed by internal users or external hackers, which reinforces transparency and  accountability!

We will incorporate blockchain in the next release of our transparency portal.

Lauren Razek has hosted several workshops with blockchain development companies in both the UK and the EU to conceptualise the best use of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) for our organisation and the industry as a whole.

Our plan is to leverage other technologies such as tokenisation and Internet of Things to offer our customers a better service and raise the transparency and sustainability standards in the fashion industry.
